Jensen Electric Company is a second generation, family owned, full service, commercial / industrial Electrical Contractor proudly serving Northern Nevada since 1968.
We have earned an outstanding reputation for consistently providing value, quality, service and accountability to its customers, employees, and community. Jensen Electric Company is a merit shop and is an active member of the Associated Builders and Contractors. Our company is fully committed to exceeding the expectations of all stakeholders and puts into practice the ideal that

We maintain an unlimited Nevada State Contractor’s license for “C-2” Electrical Contracting.

Jensen has a very strong and capable core team of office and field staff that have been together for many years. Many in leadership roles have grown through the company from the first day of their careers.

Their level of character and commitment is seldom seen today. These are truly individuals who regard quality and reliability as a way of life.
Jensen Electric Company provides training to our apprentice electricians through the Associated Builders and Contractors’ Electrical Apprenticeship Program at no cost to the participants. Jensen apprentices consistently graduate at the top of their classes often winning the state craft competition and competing in the national competition. Our management and staff fill such roles as Board of Directors Chair and member, National Board member, Apprenticeship Trust Chair, Apprenticeship Committee Chair, and numerous committee positions. Jensen annually receives awards and recognition for our safety performance.
Community Involvement
Jensen is committed to community involvement. We provide thousands of dollars of in-kind donations to the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows annually. We have provided entry security systems and cameras at some of the local elementary schools at no cost. We sponsor youth, high school, and UNR athletics.
